The writing in most anatomy books is quite dry, but this one does a good job of tying anatomy and physiology together in a readable, layperson-friendly format. I especially loved the parts on EKGs and sodium ion pumps. Great diagrams and useful tables helped me|About the Author|Frederic (Ric) H.
